Hi,

I'd like to install a development environment for OS/Free. Therefore I need
Warp 4, right? Is there a possibility to update Warp3 to Warp4 (for free)? It's
pretty easy to get OS2/Warp 3, but Warp 4 seems hard to get to me.

Thanx in advance

Well, you can try Warp 3. Just check is OpenWatcom works fine for you.
And don't forget to install latest fixpak for warp 3.

2Slash Gordon: We're using OpenWatcom, so, you can try it under Windows or Linux
if you want. Please note that tools and sources available at the download section, are s
omewhat outdated, it is our old environment for command line tools. Now we have a
boot sequence prototype sources, not available yet at download section. They can
be compiled under all three OS'es -- OS/2, Windows and Linux.

You might want to try eComStation if you want to use an OS/2 version.

The current version of OS/2 is eCS 1.2 with a future eCS 2.0. It is the future
of OS/2; at least until Serenity Systems decides it is no longer wants to support
it. Hopefully long enough for others to create a replacement for OS/2.
