Because it based on the leaked Warp4 source code. It's just illegal to
use.

According to the person who posted it at http://hobbes.nmsu.edu ,
it is not the leaked code - IIRC.

Hobbes contains 2 sourcecode. One is from JMA CVS, another is from netlabs CVS
(which based on JMA CVS). Both is not based on leaked sources. Second, leaked
sources never was uploaded to hobbes.

BTW, if anyone still interesting in development u a welcome.

Since the last posting to this group was over a week ago and one to the
FreeOS Group was returned as being undeliverable as that group is
nonexistent, I thought that a quick check was in order to see if this
group lives on.

The group is still here. Activity comes in surges.
There seems to be alot and there are none or little.
Alot of activity is how to plan to create OSFree but
not much seems to get done.

It is still here. It would be nice if there was more insterested
in it (especially more programmers).

Thanks for the responses fellows. I presume that many programmers have
become involved with other platforms and abandoned these groups and
even OS/2-eCS. Hopefully, interest and activity with osFree will pick
up at some point.

Kenn
