The InfraRed Support package from IBM contains a REXX DLL for minimal 
access to the Irda Port. According to exeinfo this DLL exports the 
following functions 

   *  UninitRxIrDA 
   *  RXIRDAQUERYDEVICE 
   *  RXIRDAQUERYCOMPORT 
   *  InitRxIrDA 
 

 Unfortunately the package does not contain any documentation for the DLL 
 so I don't know how to use it.
