Hi!
I would like to boot osFree from diskettes (1.4 MB, to boot on an old 486) but the loader is complaining it can't find all of the files it needs. Which is quite logical beause all the files can't fit on one floppy. So does anyone if/how the loader can be changed to wait, processing files be loaded to just  print out wait status instead of failing. To give some time enough to switch diskette and continue loading? Such like: "File not found <file>. Press key to continue boot." This could be activated with a special switch inside the load script, for example.

I wonder why you could not boot from diskettes, because I tried them (but did not tried Yoda's installer -- installed it manually).  It boots to menu, then when I pick a menu item, it boots L4Ka::Pistachio or classic OS/2. OS/2 Server with needed PN servers could not fit on a diskette -- it is.
But I could propose two ways of modifying a bootloader to pause between diskettes:
1) Add a (global) option to a menu file, kinda 'pause=yes', so, when it is specified, if a file is not found, it stops and asks for a key pressed.
2) add a special command 'prompt <message>'. So, it boots normally until it encounters this command. When it is encountered, it  prints a message and waits for a key pressed. Then user changes a media and boot process continues.
PS: We a wondering why are you not joining our irc channel #osFree on EFnet irc network? It is now a main place for discussions regarding osFree. Here is too, but on-line discussions are better, I think ;)

Current versions of my installer doesn't support install to Floppy - didn't think
anyone would do that :-)
Next version will have this enabled.
